Ingredients
- 2 tbps olive oil
- 1 diced medium yellow onion
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 28oz can whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat and add onion and cook until softStep 2
Add garlic and cook another minute or so - just until fragrantStep 3
Add tomatoes, squishing each one with your hand to break it up as you addStep 4
Next put in tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, red pepper, sugar and oreganoStep 5
Stir really well, combining everythingStep 6
Bring to a boilStep 7
Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes
