Dill Pickles

Ingredients

  • English cucumber or other good cucumbers for pickles
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 4 tbsp pickling spice
  • Handful of fresh dill
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers as desired
  2. Add water, vinegar, salt and pickling spice to sauce pan and bring to simmer until salt disolves
  3. Add sliced cucumbers, dill and garlic to Mason jar
  4. Add water/vinegar mixture to Mason jar
  5. Allow to cool
  6. Add lid and place in fridge for 3-4 weeks
